90% new, pure european duck down, white. 10% downy feathers. Medium clusters with very high fill power quality. Swissnorm + Euronorm. DOWNPASS®
100% cotton, fine Soft Cambric, natural white (unbleached)
With the 4-Seasons Goose Basic duvet the sleeping environment can be adjusted at any time to suit your personal warmth requirements. It consists of two individual Basic duvets, which can be easily separated and put back together again.
This two-part 4-Seasons down duvet in excellent Basic Quality is a pure, high-quality natural product and is handmade in Switzerland with great love and care in a tradition that goes back decades.
Thanks to the square quilting (fabric-on-fabric quilting), which is carefully matched to the filling quantity, the natural, valuable and wonderfully light down filling is always distributed regularly throughout the duvet and does not slip.
One part consists of a particularly light summer duvet (Super Light Duck Basic) and is quilted in small squares. The second part, a warmer all-season duvet (Medium Duck Basic), is filled with more down and quilted in larger squares. Both pieces buttoned together make an ultra-warm duvet for cold winter nights.
Increased warmth through air insulation: the very light duvet (1 Warmth Point) and the warmer duvet (3 Warmth Points) when buttoned together result in not 4 but 5 ultra-warm Warmth Points. This additional Warmth Point is due to the air insulation between the two duvets when buttoned together.
The content consists of 90% new pure, white European duck down with medium-sized clusters and a very high fill power. It complies with both the European Standard (SN/EU 12934) and the stricter Swiss Standard (VSB 2.0). It comes from healthy adult ducks bred exclusively in Europe and are DOWNPASS® certified.
The internationally renowned DOWNPASS® certification guarantees animal-friendly rearing. DOWNPASS® certified products stand for high quality and the assurance that the down and feathers used as fill material have been ethically sourced and come from strictly controlled and traceable supply chains. In addition, the quality of all products is monitored by independent testing institutes.
The down is carefully washed with fresh, pure spring water in Switzerland, gently dried and sorted before being used to professionally fill the duvets.
The 100% cotton cover in fine and natural white (unbleached) Soft Cambric is perfectly matched to the high quality of the fill. It is made of exclusive, long staple cotton with a down-proof weave and yet very breathable. The hydrophilic fabric ensures rapid moisture wicking (no sweating). The fabric has a super soft finish, a soft feel and does not rustle.
NOMITE® natural protection against mites also prevents mites from penetrating the duvet. This makes this duvet also suitable for allergy sufferers.
Our down and feather products can be washed in a gentle cycle with high water level and low drum movement. Best washed individually and at temperatures of up to 60 degrees. Pay attention to the washing symbol on the care label. We recommend that you wash the down duvet every 1-2 years.
It is important to use a pH-neutral liquid mild detergent for this purpose. We recommend a washing program with spin cycle. Repeat this cycle as down and feathers absorb many times their own weight of water.
Always wash bedding separately and individually. Select temperature according to care symbols. From 40° to 60° C. Please note that duvets must never be treated with softener.
After washing, the down and feather products must be tumbled gently, preferably with the addition of a used (clean) tennis ball. This ensures that the down and feather contents are regularly shaken up in the tumbler during the drying process. Dryer temperature approx. 100° C.
Shaking slightly means taking the duvet in your hands at the sides, right and left, and then to shake slightly in the upper part, in the middle and in the lower part. Do not shake vigorously.
If possible, do not cover the bedding with a day blanket. It must be able to breathe.
Your duvet needs a lot of fresh air in the morning. It has absorbed a lot of moisture during your sleep, which it must release again. And your duvet wants to get rid of the heat. So take it away from the bed (it has stored the warmth of the night) and place it over a chair.
Hang your duvet quietly in the fresh air, but don't let it lie too long in the sun. The sun takes the fat from the down and feathers and dries them out. Please do not hang the duvet in the fog either, otherwise too much moisture will be absorbed.
A vacuum cleaner or a carpet beater will not do your duvet any good! They damage the fabric and the dust cannot escape either. It is much better to simply hang the duvet in the fresh air.
Changing bed linen every two weeks is ideal.
The attractive and practical reclosable bag made of recycled PET protects the valuable contents from dirt and light moisture.
Due to its special texture, the natural materials of your duvet and pillow can breathe and recover.
If you do not need your duvet or pillow for a longer period of time, pack it in this bag and store it in a clean, dry place.
It will give you many years of pleasure.
The item you have requested will be produced especially for you with the utmost care. The production time is 2-3 working days, after which it will be sent immediately to your delivery address.
