100% “Swiss made”

Our down duvets and feather and down pillows are 100% made in Switzerland.

"Swiss made" is an international seal of quality that also applies to bedding. Swiss bedding production has a long tradition and benefits today from an increasing wealth of expertise.

Switzerland has always been considered a classic down duvet country. Nowhere else in the world are so many high-quality down duvets in use at night as in Switzerland. The down duvets produced in Switzerland delight people all over the world for whom the quality of their sleep is as important as the quality of their food and clothing.

As not enough down and feathers are available in Switzerland, our producers source them abroad. Our duvets mainly contain down and feathers from European countries such as Hungary and Poland.

Only down from animals that have not been plucked alive is used. The down we use is a by-product of meat production.

The internationally recognised DOWNPASS® certification guarantees animal-friendly rearing. DOWNPASS® certified products stand for high quality and the assurance that the down and feathers used as filling material have been ethically produced and come from strictly controlled and traceable supply chains. Furthermore, the quality of all products is monitored by independent testing institutes.

Swiss Wash

Hygiene is crucial for bedding because our bodies come into contact with a duvet or pillow for about seven hours a day.

The "Swiss Wash" label guarantees that the down and feathers have been carefully washed, dried and disinfected with fresh, high-quality Swiss spring water according to the strictest hygiene standards. The washing and drying process is carried out very gently to keep the valuable filling material particularly pure and downy.

An essential aspect for the quality is the washing and sorting of the down and feathers. Our producers do this in their own laundry. Daily hygiene certificates are mandatory. Every day, samples of the freshly washed and sorted material are tested in the laboratory.

For example, the fill power, fat content and quality of the mixture are checked. This means that each individual piece of down is counted and tested. This ensures that the high quality standards we demand are also met by our suppliers.
